Biography: Jonaet graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology, Bangladesh in 2016. Following this, he completed his Master’s (MSc) degree in Mechanical and Automotive Engineering from the University of Ulsan, South Korea in 2020. His thesis focused on the development of a predicting system for calculating temperature distribution, residual stress and deformation in 3D printed parts. In 2021 Joanet commenced his PhD candidature in Energy and Advanced Manufacturing at the University of South Australia. He is an integral part of SEAM, his research project is entitled “Coating and Repair of Additive Manufactured Components”. His research focuses on the improvement in the accuracy and reliability of in-situ monitoring and closed-loop feedback control of the laser cladding process.
