Titomic Limited announces receipt of RSP Status

Innovation and Science Australia, Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources, Australian Government has awarded Titomic Limited status of Research Service Provider (RSP). With the newly awarded RSP status Titomic can provide scientific or technical expertise and resources to perform research and development on behalf of other companies 

SEAM is delighted to be partnered with Titomic Limited and congratulates the company on receiving RSP status becoming the first additive manufacturer to receive this award. 

This is an important milestone achievement and significant for industry, the research community, as it provides unique capabilities in the company’s role by supporting next generation of researchers.  

SEAM Director Distinguished Professor Chris Berndt, said “As a partner organisation, we are proud to see this certification awarded to the company. At Swinburne, we are home to the ARC ITTC Centre in Surface Engineering for Advanced Materials (SEAM), where we continue to research material science innovations through advanced technologies such as Titomic Kinetic Fusion®. 

We look forward to a mutually prosperous partnership to train future industry-fit ‘plug-&-play’ professionals and provide immediate economic outcomes that can evolve from industrial transformations,” said Professor Berndt.  

 SEAM Partner Investigator Mr Jeff Lang said “Titomic is proud of this achievement, and its unique capabilities being recognised, for its next generation fundamental research and commercial developments of its industrial scale additive manufacturing.”
