Daniel Garnham holds a Bachelors with Honours in Mechanical Engineering from RMIT University and graduated with first class honours. He worked on a vacuum evaporation physical vapour deposition (VE-PVD) project during the undergrade program. The project objective was to investigate the VE-PVD process at low vacuum levels (10^-1 Pa). Daniel worked on the project for two years as a secondary supervisor assisting new students on the project work. Daniel worked in the private sector with Bombardier Transportation as a service engineer, working on maintaining and improving V/Line’s V’locity fleet.

Daniel left SEAM and RMIT University in 2021.
